Olympique Marseille President Pablo Longoria has commented on rumors that his club is linking the signing of Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo during this summer’s transfers.
“This is the era of social media, full of rumors and false news,” Longoria said in comments from Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, an expert on the transfer market in Europe.
“It (Ronaldo) is like saying that De Bruyne or Haaland (the Manchester City duo) will join us (which is now almost impossible). Let’s focus on our real project.”

Ronaldo has yet to seal his fate as the end of the summer transfer period approaches the first of September, with media reports claiming that the Portuguese star has applied to leave Manchester United this summer for a Champions League club that is in competition. in which Marseille will compete after finishing second in the French league competition last season.
Former France and Marseille striker Djibril Cissier has urged Ronaldo to take on a new challenge in his career by moving to the French league to defend Alon Marseille.
And Djibril Sissier posted a tweet through his official Twitter account in which he said: “Cristiano, come my friend, I will take care of you.”
French rapper Jules also posted a fake photo of Ronaldo wearing a Marseille T-shirt with “Some Hope” written on it.
