The Polish Football Association announced on Monday the exclusion of player Macy Reposh from the Polish national team during the World Cup in Qatar 2022 after he recently joined the Russian national team.

While most foreign players left Russia following Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine, left-back Repos moved to Spartak Moscow this month after spending five years at local Lokomotiv.
Earlier, Poland refused to meet with Russia in the qualifying tournament of the World Cup in Qatar because of the Russian special operation in Ukraine.
32-year-old Repos played 66 matches for Poland.
It is noteworthy that Poland is in Group C at the 2022 World Cup along with the teams: Argentina, Mexico and Saudi Arabia.
