The Moist Esports Valorant Team is Introduced by Ludwig_

Ludwig Ahgren, a YouTube streamer, founded the Valorant team under Moist Esports. With Charles “MoistCr1TiKaL” White Jr., who founded Moist, Ludwig became a co-owner of the esports organization in January.

Moist Esports has participated in competitions for Rocket League, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Guilty Gear Strive, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Brawlhalla, and most recently, Apex Legends since their founding in 2021. Ludwig announced his intention to launch his Valorant team when he joined Moist as a co-owner. Yet, he acknowledged that the competition would make it challenging. Many athletes wait a year before returning to the field when eliminated from tournaments. He didn’t say anything about his plans at the time. Still, his supporters and those of Moist Esports appeared to be optimistic.

Ludwig verified the news and introduced the Moist Moguls after speculations about him eventually forming a Moist Esports Valorant team started circulating on Twitter. It is made up of Brady “thief” DeverAlex “aproto” Protopapas, Xavier “flyuh” Carlson, Brock “brawk” Somerhalder, and Tyler “sym” Porter from the unsigned Valorant NA Challengers team Breakthru.

Ludwig and Moist Moguls received many congratulations from fans, content producers, and professional athletes. They expressed their excitement to see them in the upcoming Valorant playoffs. Some fans prefer the playoff matchup between Jeremy “Disguised Toast” Wang’s Disguised and Moist Moguls. Ludwig had already challenged the group to a show match in which the losing owner would have to shave his head so that it might happen sooner rather than later. Others asserted that Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker, a Valorant player who supposedly quit Cloud9, was signed by Moist Moguls after changing his Twitter bio. Yet after Ludwig’s lineup was revealed, yay appeared to be “trolling” the audience.

Ludwig previously said that his desire to participate in esports led him to become a co-owner of Moist Esports. He would show his love for the game by participating in competitions like the “Ludwig x Tarik Invitational,” a North American Valorant LAN event with professional teams from TSM, The Guard, T1, and Sentinels. He will be able to see his team compete in the upcoming Valorous Championship Tournament (VCT) circuit now that he has signed with Moist Moguls.

Many Valorant supporters worry about the squad’s cohesiveness after being eliminated early from the VCTs; Disguised Toast felt the same way about his team. Esports fans have frequently witnessed this scenario as organizations have fired individuals and even entire teams, such as TSM’s female Valorant roster, after finishing last in competitions. They still need to wait and watch how Moist Moguls fare in their first matches in terms of performance and finish. Ludwig and the business will eventually decide if they continue to be signed with Moist after losing.

On the PC, Valorant is now accessible.
