The Kremlin spoke about the beneficiaries of the disruption "Nord Stream"

The Kremlin said that the disruption of the two Nord Stream gas pipelines is not in the interests of a number of European countries, as well as Russia, since these countries are losing backup energy supply routes.

As for the beneficiaries of the disruption of the Nord Stream 1 and 2 gas pipelines, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov pointed out that this is beneficial to the United States, which sells liquefied gas at exorbitant prices to Europe, and there are countries that are technically capable of such sabotage.

Peskov also pointed out that it is not clear with whom to cooperate in servicing Nord Stream 1 and 2, and a Russian official, answering this question to reporters today, on Monday, said that “the West is raging.”

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin accused the “Anglo-Saxons” of involvement in last week’s explosions of the Nord Stream 1 and 2 gas pipelines, which stretch from Russia to Germany along the bottom of the Baltic Sea.

“The sanctions (they imposed against Russia) are not enough for the Anglo-Saxons, so they turned to sabotage, in fact, they began to destroy the infrastructure of the whole of Europe,” the Russian president said.

Last week, the Nord Stream operator reported a pressure drop in the Nord Stream 1 gas pipeline, while a pressure drop was also announced in the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline. After that, Swedish seismologists confirmed the presence of explosions in 3 pipes of the Nord Stream.

The Nord Stream pipelines run from Russia to Germany along the bottom of the Baltic Sea, passing through the economic waters of Denmark, Finland and Sweden. The faults occurred near the Danish island of Bornholm.
