The Kremlin commented on the words of the President of Germany on the ceasefire

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov called negotiations with Ukraine “impossible” because of the intransigence of the Kyiv authorities.

Peskov said that any calls for a ceasefire are no longer “serious now” because “Kyiv completely rejects them, and that is why the special operation continues.”

The Kremlin’s comment came in response to German President Walter Steinmeier’s statements to the German DW channel that “any calls for a ceasefire are not serious now,” as they mean, as he put it, “an acknowledgment of an injustice that has already happened.” and “Russia’s victory and the correctness of her position.”
