The Kremlin commented on possible talks between Putin and Macron

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the Kremlin would disclose President Putin’s contacts with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron if they took place.

He added: “We will inform you about the call and its date if it takes place.”

For two months, the presidents of Russia and France did not discuss the accumulated problems.

On Monday, the French President held telephone conversations with Volodymyr Zelensky, and French television reported that the conversation between Macron and Zelensky lasted an hour and a half.

Zelensky’s office indicated that the parties discussed cooperation in the field of security, financial support for Ukraine and the export of Ukrainian grain.
