"The keeper"Johnson does not rule out the deportation of Ukrainian refugees to Rwanda

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson does not rule out the deportation of Ukrainian refugees in case of their illegal entry into Rwanda, the Guardian newspaper reports.

And he said Johnson: “We give Ukrainians 130,000 visas, and they have at least two very good ways to enter. But if they come here illegally.. I’m afraid the answer is yes, in theory it can happen (their deportation).”

On Thursday, Johnson visited the capital of Rwanda, Kigali. During the visit, he was asked whether Ukrainians who illegally arrived in the UK would be deported to Rwanda.

The first expulsion of migrants from the UK to Rwanda was to take place on the evening of 14 June. However, the trip was canceled at the last moment due to the decision of the European Court of Human Rights, which is unhappy with the UK.

The UK and Rwanda signed an immigration agreement on April 13, under which people who are recognized by the British government as illegal immigrants or asylum seekers will be deported to Rwanda.
