Recently there have been reports in the press that Liverpool are ready to drop the services of their Egyptian star Mohamed Salah during the current summer transfer period if he receives a £60m offer.
Mohamed Salah’s future is a subject of much debate despite Salah’s announcement that he will remain at Liverpool until the end of his contract, which ends next summer 2023.
Reports suggested that negotiations between Salah and Liverpool had reached a difficult stage, with the player demanding a weekly salary of £400,000.
And British newspaper The Sun reported that Real Madrid are looking into a deal for Salah after he failed to sign Paris Saint-Germain star French striker Kylian Mbappe.
Mario Cortegana, a well-known journalist for the newspaper Marca, told the Spanish program Goal: “According to my information, Real Madrid are not thinking about signing a contract with Salah.”
Salah’s contract with Liverpool expires next summer, meaning he can sign for any club for free starting next January.
