Sports critic Manar Shaheen complained about Saudi Crescent star Salem Al-Dosari for posting a photo next to a wax statue of Egyptian Liverpool star Mohamed Salah.
Previously, Salem posted via his social media accounts a photo during his vacation in London and his presence at the famous Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, which features statues of the world’s most prominent stars, whether in art or sports.
But journalist Manar Shaheen Shaheen criticized Al-Dosari through the Sports Harvest program on Tuesday, saying: “I was somewhat offended by a picture of Captain Salem Al-Dosari holding a wax statue of Egyptian Arab captain Mohamed Salah. .”
He added: “I think, Salem, you are no less a star than Mohamed Salah. I hope I see you reach this stage. You imagine a player with the same level, stardom and technical status, and you deserve more than this, and you are the best player in Asia, the Saudi league and two-time Asian champion, and you participated with your club in the World Cup eyes.”

Al-Dosari won the Saudi Arabian Professional League with Al-Hilal for the third time in a row after struggling with Al-Ittihad until the last round of last season.
Salem Al-Dosari became the most expensive Saudi player in history when he extended his contract last December in exchange for 13 million riyals annually.
