The International Atomic Energy Agency has announced that its experts will inspect two sites in Ukraine amid information about the possibility of developing a “dirty bomb”.
“Director General Rafael Grossi confirmed today that IAEA inspectors will conduct inspections this week at two sites in Ukraine,” the agency said in a statement.
She indicated that the purpose of the visit was to identify any potentially undeclared nuclear activities and materials related to the development of “dirty bombs”.
Grossi stressed that after the completion of the checks, they will evaluate and announce the results.
