Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Bank of Poland Adam Glapinski warned of the possibility of a technical recession in the country.
“In Poland, we do not expect an economic recession, a technical recession is possible, and GDP may have negative growth for two quarters,” Glapinski said at a press conference.
He added that if inflation rises, the Monetary Policy Council intends to raise interest rates.
