Earlier this month, genuine Kroger shops in Kentucky and Ohio began accepting Apple Pay after finally adopting NFC technology. Kroger, along with Walmart and The Home Depot, was one of the top retailers in the United States that did not accept Apple Pay when the service first became available in 2014.
