The governor of the Russian city of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvogayev, has confirmed that Ukrainian intelligence chief Kirill Budanov will not visit Russian Crimea except as a suspect under investigation for Nazi war crimes.
“Nazi Budanov has a chance to come to Sevastopol only under one condition: after our victory, if he remains alive, a special trial on “Ukrainian Nazism” will be held in the city,” Razvogaev wrote in his Telegram channel.
According to him, anyone who is at least a little familiar with the history of the city and its heroes should understand that no one has yet succeeded in eradicating the population of Sevastopol.
For her part, the head of the Ukrainian community in the Russian Crimea, Anastasia Gredchena, reacted to Budanov’s words, saying that “Budanov is a war criminal, at best awaiting a military trial for his criminal offenses, and at worst, death.”
Earlier, Budanov said that he would be the first to visit his hometown of Sevastopol after the “victory of Kyiv.”
