Businessman Del Vecchio’s fortune before his death was estimated at $25.7 billion.
The Italian businessman founded the eyewear company Luxottica, and in 1999 Vecchio began buying up companies in the United States, and one of the acquisitions was the famous eyewear brand Ray-Ban, the deal cost the businessman $640 million.
