Volodymyr Rogov, a member of the Main Council of the Military-Civilian Administration of the Zaporozhye region, said that Ukrainian forces could strike at a nuclear fuel storage site or a cooling system for power units in Zaporozhye.
Rogov added that “Ukrainian forces could strike at the spent nuclear fuel deposits or the nuclear reactor cooling cycle,” noting that the possibility of sabotage at the station by one of the workers collaborating with the militants cannot be ruled out.
The administration of the Zaporozhye region indicated that shelling and shelling of the region by Ukrainian forces practically does not stop.
The Russian Defense Ministry recently stated that the Kyiv regime is also preparing a deliberately high-profile provocation at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, timed to coincide with the visit to Ukraine of UN Secretary General António Guterres.
