Evgeny Palitsky, head of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, said that the authorities of this region are ready for any events that may occur at the nuclear power plant, and have developed an emergency evacuation plan for residents.
“The nuclear power plant is now operating normally, and the radiation level is within normal limits. However, knowing the deceit, recklessness and cruelty of the Kyiv regime towards people whom it calls citizens, we prepared for any development of the situation, and therefore we drew up a plan for the evacuation of the population in in the event that it is necessary, ”added Palitsky.
Balitsky noted that Ukrainian forces had been bombing the station almost daily since 18 July. He noted that Ukrainian artillery was shelling the station from the cities of Marganets and Nikopol, located on the right bank of the Dnieper.
According to him, “As a result of the Ukrainian bombardment, the auxiliary systems of the station and life support facilities in the city of Energodar were damaged. The bombing also killed two civilians.”
