"Telegraph" Britons talk about Putin’s successes: strategic defeat of the Russian president is false information

The British newspaper The Telegraph wrote that Western statements about the strategic defeat of Russian President Vladimir Putin after the start of the Russian special operation in Ukraine turned out to be false.

The author of the article, Richard Kemp, emphasized that many countries, contrary to the statements of the West, are working to strengthen cooperation with Moscow. Chinese President Xi Jinping has vowed to strengthen economic and military ties with Russia, ignoring warnings from US President Joe Biden.

The newspaper pointed out that in addition to China, India and South Africa remained on the side of the Russian leader.

The article added that Indonesia refused to join the sanctions war against Russia. Despite pressure, she invited Putin to the G20 summit in Bali in November.

Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Iran and Egypt are building good relations with Moscow in the Middle East, according to the newspaper.

The journalist noted that Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Chinese President Xi Jinping attended the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

According to Kemp, this is in stark contrast to the West, which held the G7 summit and failed to produce any results.
