Surprising poll results revealed before second round of Turkey’s Erdogan vs. Davutoglu elections

An opinion poll conducted by the ORC Research Foundation revealed the proportions of votes that outgoing Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his rival Kılıçdaroğlu will receive in the second round.

The poll showed that Recep Tayyip Erdogan would receive 46.7% of the vote, compared with 48.1% of his opposition Umma Alliance opponent Kamal Kılıçdaroğlu before the undecided vote was split.

About 4,000 people in 28 Turkish provinces took part in the survey ahead of the second round of the presidential election.

According to the poll, after distributing these rates among the reluctant, these rates rise to 49.2% in favor of Erdogan, compared to 50.8% in favor of Kılıçdaroğlu.

The poll also asked about the candidate closest to the undecided, with 48.6% choosing President Erdogan and 51.4% choosing Kılıçdaroğlu.
