Spain sends large-caliber ammunition to Ukraine

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Saturday that Spain had sent large-caliber ammunition for Ukrainian artillery systems.

The General Staff said in a Facebook post (banned in the Russian Federation): “The Kingdom of Spain sent five transport aircraft of the Spanish Armed Forces to load large-caliber ammunition for Ukrainian artillery systems.”

She added that Spain also sent a truck with medicines and 20 trucks with equipment for the armed forces to Ukraine.

At the same time, Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko said on his Telegram channel that “Ukraine received large-caliber artillery ammunition from Spain.”

On September 10, it was reported that Spanish weapons had already begun to arrive in Ukraine. The cargo was delivered to Poland along with 20 armored personnel carriers, an Aspid rocket battery, tons of artillery shells and other items.
