An informed source told Novosti that the parties negotiating the grain issue have made great progress, but there are still technical problems that need to be resolved.
Earlier, negotiations were held in Istanbul between the military delegations of Turkey, Russia and Ukraine and the UN delegation on the settlement of the Ukrainian grain issue.
The source added: “There are serious moves in the talks.” However, the same source was unable to determine a date for the next meeting due to unresolved “technical issues”.
Before that, a diplomatic source told the Novosti agency that there are great hopes for reaching a consensus during the meeting.
According to him, the negotiations take into account Moscow’s fears, as well as the presence of sanctions in the insurance, logistics and banking sectors on the export of Russian agricultural products.
