“Indeed, Belarus has officially applied to join the Shanghai Cooperation Organization as a full member,” he added.
He stressed that this indicates that Minsk is convinced that the values and principles of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization are compatible with the values and principles of Belarus.
Earlier, Acting Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov said that Belarus had applied to join the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and its application has already been sent to member states, and the procedures for its admission to the SCO may begin during the organization’s summit will be held next September. in Samarkand.
