Sevilla reach agreement on Isco’s move from Real Madrid

Sevilla have announced they have reached an agreement to sign Real Madrid midfielder Isco.

Isco has not renewed his contract with Real Madrid and he is due to sign a two-year contract with Sevilla after passing a medical on Monday.

Sevilla have revealed that Isco, 30, is already in Sevilla to finalize his contract.

It will be the Andalusian team’s third signing of the season, with defenders Marcão and Alex Telles replacing the departures of Jules Conde and Diego Carlos.

Isco has been at Real Madrid since joining them from Malaga in 2013, but has made little appearances for the royal team in past seasons.

Isco also lost his place in the Spanish national team following his absence from the Royal Club.

Julen Lopetegui, the current coach of Sevilla, coached Isco when he was at the peak of his career at Real Madrid and the Spanish national team.

Sevilla kick off their La Liga campaign against host Osasuna on Friday.

And the Andalusian team ended last season in fourth place in the Spanish league, which makes it eligible for the next Champions League.
