Serie A. Roma snatch a valuable draw from Juventus

Roma took a point away from Juventus with a 1-1 draw on Saturday in the third leg of the Italian Football League.

Juventus were the top performer for most of the match and managed to open the scoring thanks to Serbian striker Dušan Vlahović from a free kick from the left a minute into the match.

The hosts held the lead, unable to build on their progress, until Englishman Tammy Abraham managed to correct the result in Roma’s favour, scoring a header from a fine technical pass from Argentinian Paulo Dybala in his first match against his former team.

And this draw is the second in a row for Juventus, after having settled for a point and a negative draw with host Sampdoria at the previous stage, after opening their season by beating Sassuolo by three clear points.

On the other hand, this draw is the first for Roma after winning the first two rounds at the expense of Salernitana (1:0) and Cremonese (1:0).
