Seoul: North Korea conducted four launches of new missiles

The South Korean military announced on Saturday that North Korea had fired four short-range ballistic missiles into the sea.

The South Korean military said the North Korean missiles flew about 130 km at an altitude of 20 km with a maximum speed of Mach 5.

It comes after North Korea fired three ballistic missiles into Japanese territorial waters, shortly after it criticized Seoul and Washington’s decision to extend their joint air exercises in the region.
