Secretary of the National Security Council of Ukraine: Kyiv has been preparing for war since 2019

Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, confirmed that his country’s government had begun preparations for a “big war” from the end of 2019.

Danilov told the NTA television channel: “We were preparing for war, and preparations began after December 8 and 9, 2019, when President Zelensky in Paris did not agree to the conditions offered to us by Russia, France and Germany. He said: “No. , friends, there will be no “Minsk-3, we will protect our country.” The next day they realized that a big war with Russia was inevitable.

He noted that the preparations began “with great caution”, so after 180 days of the Russian special operation, “we are on our territory.”

When asked by the host of the program why the government does not disclose this information, Danilov replied that the authorities should not inform everyone.
