Scottish leader launches attack on Terrace: it could be a disaster for Britain

Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has said British Foreign Secretary Liz Trace could be a disaster for her country if she is elected prime minister.

Speaking to Britain’s Sky News, Sturgeon said: “If she takes the lead in her re-election campaign in the summer, it will be a disaster not only for Scotland, but for the whole of Britain. But let’s hope that doesn’t happen, because it’s a very difficult task.” time for Britain and we need very serious and conscientious leadership.”

The Scottish official accused the Trust of campaigning for the priorities of individual members of the Conservative Party, such as tax cuts.

“The concerns of a very small number of members of the Conservative Party are not a real priority for the country,” she added.

At the same time, she stressed that she would do “everything possible to build a constructive working relationship” with Liz Truss.

Voting in the last round of the British Prime Minister’s election ended last Friday and the results are expected to be announced on 5 September.
