Schultz: Canada and Germany have agreed on a package "military aid" for Ukraine

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that Canada and Germany have agreed on a new package of military assistance to Ukraine, including air defense systems, ammunition and grenade launchers.

“We will continue to supply weapons. We will provide Ukraine with a new package of assistance, including other modern air defense systems, grenade launchers, tons of ammunition, anti-drone defenses,” Schultz added at the so-called “Crimean Platform” organized by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and armored rescue vehicles.

Earlier, Russia sent a memorandum to NATO countries regarding the supply of weapons to Ukraine, in which it emphasized that Ukraine’s transfer of weapons from the West does not contribute to the success of Russian-Ukrainian negotiations, but will have a negative impact and lead to a prolongation of the conflict.
