Rising Saudi star Yara Al-Haqbani won the Bahrain International Tennis Championship “ITF” at the expense of Russian Tamara Yarmakova.
The Saudi star managed to defeat his Russian rival in straight sets (6-2) and (6-4) in the match between them today, Sunday.
Yara Al-Haqbani, 17, advanced to the final at the expense of Israel’s Isabelle Bilos, after easily beating her in two unanswered sets, 6-1 and 6-0.
Yara Al-Haqbani with British Hurstova also won the doubles title earlier, also at the expense of the Russian duet Tamara Yarmakova and Israeli Isabelle Billos.
