Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman said that “the kingdom has lost 40 years and today it could be like India and China in the field of industry.”

At a press conference on a national strategy for industry proposed by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman explained, “I think we’ve wasted 40 years and we could be like India and China in the industry.” .

The Minister of Energy said: “The national strategy for industry is a joint collective action that has robbed me of self-esteem.”

He added: “We produce 38 million tons in manufacturing and we only benefit from 6 million.”

And Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman added: “The investment will encourage the establishment of factories to profit from them in the settlement.”

He continued: “We are proud to be in a country where we feel that what we say will be implemented.”

Yesterday, on Tuesday, Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman unveiled the National Industrial Strategy, emphasizing that the Kingdom has every opportunity to create a competitive and sustainable industrial economy.
