Saudi Al Ahly Jeddah Football Club announced on Tuesday its contract with Tunisian Youssef Al Abdali, a striker for the Al Ittihad sports team in Monastir, during this summer’s transfers.
Al-Ahly from Saudi Arabia wrote via his Twitter account: “Al-Ahly club management has completed contract procedures for Tunisian player Youssef Al-Abdali (23) to support the ranks of the first football team coming from the ranks Tunisian Sports Federation of Monastir, in a contract for two seasons with the benefit of an extension for another season.

Abdali began his football career with French junior club Nice before being promoted to the reserves before joining Lens in 2018.
The young striker joined the Tunisian Esperance in January 2020, and before the end of the same year he moved to the ranks of Monastir Union.
Al-Abdali, 23, made 20 appearances for Monastir Union last season, scoring five goals and making two assists.
Significantly, Al Ahli Jeddah were relegated to the second division for the first time in their history after finishing in the penultimate 15th position in the Saudi League standings last season.
