Saudi Arabia donates $300 million worth of oil products to Ukraine

In Kyiv, Saudi Arabia and Ukraine signed a memorandum of understanding on the financing of oil derivatives in the amount of $300 million and Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian aid to Kyiv in the amount of $100 million.

And the Saudi press agency SPA said that the signing of this agreement comes as part of the implementation of what the Kingdom announced earlier, following a phone call made by Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The agreement was signed by Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia Faisal bin Farhan and Director of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak.

The agreement includes $100 million in humanitarian aid from the Kingdom of Ukraine and a memorandum of understanding to finance oil derivatives worth $300 million as a grant from the government of Saudi Arabia.

The SPA said the signing of the agreement and the MoU reflects the desire of the Saudi Arabian government to “support Ukraine and its friendly people in addressing the social and economic challenges facing the country and to contribute to mitigation.” humanitarian consequences.”
