Saudi Arabia deposits $1 billion in Yemen Central Bank deposit

Saudi Arabia has signed a $1 billion deposit agreement with the Central Bank of Yemen, and it has been fully deposited in the bank’s account, pursuant to the directives of King Salman bin Abdulaziz and his Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

And the Saudi press agency “SPA” said that this support is a continuation of the aspirations of the Kingdom’s government and the continued support of the brothers in the Republic of Yemen in development and economic development.

She explained that it is hoped that this deposit will contribute to strengthening the capacity to implement the Economic Reform Program of the Republic of Yemen with the Arab Monetary Fund as Yemen’s technical body, allowing it to contribute to economic stability.
