San Siro’s Champions League final tickets sell out in record time of 7 hours

Italian club Inter Milan have announced that all tickets for spectators at the San Siro Stadium (Giuseppe Meazza) to watch the Champions League final on screens have ended.

Inter will face a very tough matchup against Manchester City in the Champions League final at Istanbul’s Ataturk Stadium next Saturday.

According to an official statement released by Inter, the local council of the city of Milan has agreed to open the San Siro stadium for fans to watch the final match on screens to prevent possible crowds on the streets.

He added that giant screens will be placed at one end of the stadium and the stadium’s maximum capacity is set at 43,000 spectators.

The club noted that all tickets were sold out in just 7 hours after going on sale.
