Salah gets two special numbers on a pitch night

Egyptian Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool star, put up two outstanding numbers against his guest Leeds United (1-2), which brought them together on Saturday night in the 14th round of the English Premier League.

Mohamed Salah scored Liverpool’s only goal 14 minutes into the first half at Anfield.

Egypt’s Pharaoh became Liverpool’s second top scorer in English Premier League history (since the Premier League era began in 1992) with 122 goals, surpassing retired Reds legend Steven Gerrard on goal difference.

Mohamed Salah also became the second top scorer in Liverpool history at home with 70 goals, breaking another Gerrard record, with the legendary Robbie Fowler topping the list with 85 goals.

Six goals separate the Egyptian star from Robbie Fowler’s record of 128 in the Premier League era since 1992.

Mohamed Salah, 30, is seventh on Liverpool’s top scorer list in the English Premier League and needs one more goal to equal Jack Parkinson’s 123.

Notably, Mohamed Salah has raised his tally to 11 goals this season, becoming the Premier League’s second-most goalscorer in all competitions behind Manchester City’s Norwegian striker Erling Halland, who scored 22 goals.
