Russia’s Foreign Ministry labels Israel and its neighboring states’ situation as a vicious circle and a failure .

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov described the situation around Israel and its Arab neighbors as a “failure” and a “vicious circle” given the failure to direct efforts towards resolving the crisis from its roots.

Bogdanov, who serves as the president’s special envoy for the Middle East and Africa, added, when asked if Israel’s conflict with neighboring countries is waning, he said: “There are failures all the time, it’s a vicious circle.” , that’s the problem.

Bogdanov pointed out that there are no radical solutions to problems between Israel and its Arab neighbors, noting the urgent need to find solutions acceptable to all parties.

Tensions are rising in the Middle East region after Israeli police stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Tuesday and Wednesday nights and arrested about 400 Palestinians who were watching the mosque during the month of Ramadan.

In response, Palestinian factions have vowed to retaliate, with Hamas politburo chief Ismail Haniya reaffirming last Thursday during his visit to Lebanon that Palestinian factions will not be “idle” in the face of Israeli “aggression” on the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

At least 34 rockets were fired from southern Lebanon towards Israel on Thursday, and the Israeli government has accused Palestinian factions of involvement in the rocket attack, suggesting it was Hamas or Islamic Jihad, to the exclusion of any Hezbollah role.

For its part, the Israeli army carried out several raids in the Gaza Strip on Friday and targeted the area from which the rockets were fired in southern Lebanon.
