The Novosti agency received footage of Russian army units shelling the positions of Ukrainian forces in the village of Vodiane in the direction of Avdiivka in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
The attack is carried out by the “Sturm” unit of the 1st Slavic brigade of the People’s Forces of the DPR, supported by artillery.
The footage shows the clear and professional work of artillerymen, dropping shells on the enemy with the help of a drone, and then a direct attack by personnel.
As a result, the enemy was forced to leave their positions due to losses and strong pressure, and a further advance followed for the Russian troops.
On November 30, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the continuation of successful offensive operations to free Vodyany from the enemy.
This village is considered an important place for the subsequent offensive on Avdiivka, as well as for reducing Ukrainian shelling of densely populated areas of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
