Russian Minister of Agriculture expects Russia to get $40 billion from food exports

Russian Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev said that the value of exports of the Russian agro-industrial complex in 2022 is expected to be about $40 billion.

The Russian minister addressed the journalists today, on Friday, on the occasion of the All-Russian Field Day.

“We expect the volume of deliveries abroad to be about $40 billion,” said Patrushev, who said Russia has seen growth this year in almost all areas of agricultural exports.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed that Russia is still the number one exporter of wheat in the world. He pointed out that until recently Russia was buying wheat, and now it is selling it.
