Russian Kasatkina reached the semi-finals of the Granby Tennis Championships tournament.

Russia’s Daria Kasatkina advanced to the semi-finals of the Canadian Granby Tennis Championship with a total prize fund of $250,000, defeating Spain’s Nuria Barezas Diaz in straight sets.

And the Russian woman needed one hour and 22 minutes to overcome the obstacle of the Spanish rival 6-3, 6-2.

In the semi-finals, Kasatkina will face Frenchwoman Diane Barry, ranked 81st in the world.

In the second semi-final match, Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk and Australian Daria Savile, who was born in Moscow, were supposed to meet, but the Ukrainian withdrew.
