Russian Foreign Ministry: Kyiv uses every opportunity to blame Russia

Commenting on the “missile incident” in Poland, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that Kyiv is using every opportunity to shift the blame to Russia and try to enlist the support of the West.

According to the ministry, “It is remarkable how quickly accusations against Russia are made by representatives of the Kyiv regime, it seems that the authorities in Kyiv are using every opportunity to blame Russia and are trying to secure Western support, while the Zelensky regime seems to have exhausted its sponsors. And, as preliminary data show, shift the responsibility for this incident to Ukraine.”

The Foreign Ministry described the public reaction of a number of NATO countries to the missile incident as “shameful”, as foreign media published false claims that Russia was behind the missile fall on Poland, unwilling to investigate and clarify the situation.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, there were no strikes on targets near the Ukrainian-Polish border that day, and the published photos of some of the wreckage are not related to Russian weapons.

The ministry pointed out that all statements by the Polish media about the alleged fall of “Russian” missiles are a deliberate provocation with the aim of escalation.
