Russian fighter Datsik defeats an American-born representative of the House of Representatives

Russian fighter Vyacheslav Datsik defeated his compatriot Jeff Monson in a mixed martial arts (MMA) match that gathered last night, Friday, as part of the REN TV Fight Club tournament in Moscow.

Datsik, nicknamed “Red Tarzan”, beat in 2018 Jeff Monson, nicknamed “Snowman”, an American of Russian origin, in three rounds and scored points by unanimous decision: (29-28, 29-28, 29-28).

42-year-old Vyacheslav Datsik, who served 12 years behind bars for burglary in a mobile phone store, won his seventh career victory with 8 defeats.

On the other hand, 51-year-old Jeff Monson has suffered 26 losses in his career compared to 60 wins.

It is noteworthy that Jeff Monson was born on January 19, 1971 in Saint Paul, the capital of the US state of Minnesota, and in 2018 received Russian citizenship, and also became a member of the House of Representatives of the Krasnogorsk Territory from the United Russia Party, from September 9, 2018.
