According to Vladimir Rogov, a member of the Council of the Zaporozhye Regional Administration, air defense systems repelled an attack by Ukrainian forces on the city of Energograd and the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
“I heard the sounds of very strong and very powerful explosions in the city of Energograd from yesterday evening, most of the night and this morning,” Rogov added.
Rogov continued: “Before the meeting of the UN Security Council to discuss the issue of the bombing of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, the Nazi demons are trying to bomb the peaceful city and nuclear Zaporozhye with rocket launchers, heavy guns and drones.”
He stated that Russian air defense repulsed all Ukrainian attacks, and the firing positions of the Ukrainian army were suppressed by “anti-battery fire.”
