Russia sent a warning to Moldova

Today, Thursday, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova warned the Moldovan authorities against joining Western sanctions against Moscow.

This happened after the head of the EU delegation in Chisinau, Janis Magis, earlier indicated that the EU does not ask Moldova to join the sanctions, but considers it important that the country moves in this direction.

“Russia is not turning a blind eye to the efforts of the European Union and NATO to fully integrate Moldova into its anti-Russian campaign, in addition to expanding its control over its territory under the guise of providing security assistance,” Zakharova said.

Zakharova added that the experience of recent months proves that the peoples of countries that impose sanctions against Russia are the first to suffer the consequences of these sanctions.
