The press service of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia announced today, Thursday, the resumption of programs to support the purchase of cars in Russia, including the soft lending program.
“We are resuming the implementation of programs to stimulate demand for Russian-made cars, the program budget is 20.7 billion rubles ($356 million) in 2022,” the ministry said on its Telegram channel today.
According to the Minister of Trade and Industry of Russia Denis Manturov, the program provides for a discount of up to 20% of the cost of a car, while the discount for cars sold in the Far Eastern Federal District will reach 25%.
The program covers all types of cars of the Lada, UAZ and GAZ brands worth up to two million rubles, as well as the Evolute electric car, which will be produced in Russia in September next year.
