Rosatom Granted Permission by Russian Government to Export Nuclear Fuel to China and India Until 2026

The Russian government has instructed the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control to issue permits to Rosatom Corporation for the export of nuclear fuel to China and India by April 2026.

The Federal Agency will issue permits to the TVEL company of Rosatom to export enriched uranium to a degree not exceeding 30.4% to China by April 12, 2026.

Until the same date, it is planned to export uranium enriched to no more than 5% to India.

Nuclear fuel will be supplied to nuclear power plants in China and India, which are monitored by the International Atomic Energy Agency.
