Ronaldo received an offer to leave Manchester United

The question of the future of the Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo remains one of the most interesting topics in light of the ongoing reports of his desire to leave Manchester United this summer.

Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendez held direct talks with Manchester United’s management this week about the matter.

And according to the British newspaper The Sun, “Mendez told United officials that his client had an offer ready (from one of the clubs), but the club had to determine his transfer fee in order to complete the deal.”

United rejected Mendez’s request, emphasizing that they would not let Ronaldo go.

Since the Red Devils refused, Ronaldo demanded his release and ignored the final year remaining on his contract.

Ronaldo has a year left on his current contract, but United have the option to extend his contract for another 12 months.

Although United will open the Premier League at home to Brighton in just 9 days, the two sides have not reached a decisive decision, leaving the fate of the Portuguese legend in suspense.

Ronaldo’s next destination is still unknown, especially since the clubs Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Atlético Madrid of Spain, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea, which media reports are linked to the inclusion of the Portuguese, are mainly denied their interest in a contract with a five-time winner of the Golden ball.
