Al-Rashed wrote via his personal Twitter account that he resigned “after three seasons as President of the Pro League competitions committee, which I have decided to continue throughout, despite my practical circumstances, in response and appreciation to colleagues . “

He continued, “Before the end of the current season, I officially apologized for being the head of the committee.”
And concluded: “With my prayers for the next president, success.”
And the last season of the Saudi Pro League ended with great excitement as Al Hilal claimed the title after a bitter struggle with Al Ittihad in the last few meters, while Al Ahly Jeddah were relegated to the First Division.
