The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation Makan reported that the Hamas movement has begun to deploy a security belt on the borders of the Gaza Strip, including underground rocket launchers.
The channel reported that “the move aims to launch hundreds of rockets into the hinterland every day for a full month,” noting that “the Hamas movement owns 10,000 rockets and it is expected that half of them will be deployed in the aforementioned area.”
She pointed out that “the missile belt is located in an open area that is easy to operate, away from the population, along the entire Gaza Strip from north to south, and missiles are controlled remotely,” noting that “one of the reasons why Hamas did not enter in the latest military confrontation early last week, the movement didn’t finish with this belt.”
