Record a sudden drop in gas pressure "Nord Stream 2"

The company operating the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline in Germany, Gascade, reported that it had recorded a sharp drop in gas pressure along line A, without providing additional explanation.

A spokeswoman for Gascade said: “Unfortunately, we cannot provide more information, the said pipes do not belong to us, questions should be directed to Nord Stream AG.”

Nord Stream 2 includes two lines with a total pumping capacity of 55 billion cubic meters and will stretch from the Russian coast through the Baltic Sea to Germany.

On February 22, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced that the German government would suspend the ratification of the project, the construction of which was completed on September 10, 2021, as part of Western sanctions against Russia.
