Real Madrid sent a message in Arabic to the people of Riyadh

Spanish football club Real Madrid sent an enthusiastic message to the people of the Saudi Arabian capital Riyadh before the Kingdom will host the Spanish Super Cup in January 2023.

The Royal Club wrote on their Twitter account: “We are coming to you, the people of Riyadh, in the semi-final of the Spanish Super Cup.”

On January 11, 2023, Real Madrid will play against Valencia in Riyadh in the semi-final of the Spanish Super Cup.

In the second leg of the semi-final of the Spanish Super Cup, Barcelona will face Betis at the King Fahd Stadium in Riyadh.

Real Madrid will compete in the Super Cup this season as local league champions, with Barcelona as runners-up, Real Betis as Copa del Rey and Valencia as runners-up.

Saudi Arabia hosted the first edition of the Spanish Super Cup since changing its system to include four clubs in 2020, with Real Madrid winning at the expense of rivals and neighbors Atlético Madrid by beating them on penalties.
