Real Madrid have joined the race for Frenchman Hugo Eketke from Reims during the current summer transfer market.
The 20-year-old is regarded as one of the brightest talents in French football as he shone brightly last season, scoring 11 goals in 26 French league matches.
According to French newspaper L’Equipe, Real Madrid have been eyeing Ecteki for some time in preparation for his inclusion in the event of the departure of the duo Mariano Diaz and Luka Jovic.

However, the newspaper indicated that Real Madrid would face serious competition from Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Newcastle for the player’s contract.
She added that Reims had previously turned down two offers from the French talent from Paris Saint-Germain (€45m) and Newcastle (€36m).
